Astra Institute Researchers
AAI's researchers are recognized authorities in their fields (including
economics, social science, agribusiness, education and public health),
and most are Kansas residents. All bring to their research and analysis
an understanding of the pressing issues facing Kansas. All recognize
the need for meaningful solutions to those problems.
AAI conducts research on timely issues as determined by its board of directors. In addition, AAI will also conduct research consistent with its mission on a contractual or grant basis for individuals or groups, and will post or publish research conducted by others in which the board of directors finds particularly relevant to the issues facing Kansas. Publications and Position Papers from AAI research will focus not only on good policy analysis, but also on how to make it understood by a wider public.
AAI researchers have included: David Burress; Raymond H. Dean; Bill Campsey; Liz Craig; Jonathan Dimbert; David Kingsley; Louise Hanson; Jeanne Klein; Kirk McClure; and Lauren Sullivan.
